Replace old smoke detector

If you have old smoke detectors, it is recommended that they be replaced every 10 years. My suggestion is to use one of these with a Lithium battery installed. This battery lasts for 10 years - the life of the detector. The smoke detectors + tax costs about $37.00 here at Home Depot. I am only charging $10 to install it.

Battery Replacement

Replace batteries in 3 smoke detectors. (includes the batteries) Safety essential. Swap out smoke detector batteries. 9v batteries cost about $3.50 each. If your smoke detectors are using 9v batteries, it is recommended that these be changed annually.

Thermostat and Pipe Check

Adjust thermostat to 55 (or higher), set faucets to drip, inspect for leaks or freezing risks (winter prep). Crucial in Branson's cold snaps; reassures pipes won't burst.

Air Filter Replacement

Remove old HVAC filter, install a new one. I source new air filters from Home Depot here in Branson. Often overlooked, replacing your air filter will help keep your HVAC running smoothly. At a minimum, air filters should be replaced every three months.<br><br>In our units, there are two common sizes used. I will install the correct size for your individual unit.
